Crime and Security: Certain regions, particularly parts of the Caribbean and select Mediterranean routes, require increased vigilance due to sporadic criminal activity. Research your route and follow local guidance to ensure safety.
Insurance and Yacht Availability: Not all luxury yachts are insured for transatlantic passages, resulting in a more limited selection of available vessels. Early booking is recommended to secure your preferred yacht and ensure all insurance requirements are met.
Vessel Preparedness: Only yachts specifically built and equipped for ocean crossings are offered, with all safety equipment, navigation, and communication systems thoroughly checked and maintained.

Possible Animal Transfer

As you may want to cross the Atlantic to avoid flying and damaging the climate or also to transfer some of your animals such as cats, dogs or even more exotic ones such as a monkey, we may be able to arrange this on some yachts.

Essential Preparations & Equipment

Vessel Readiness: All yachts must undergo comprehensive inspections, including rig checks, electrical systems, and safety equipment such as liferafts, EPIRBs, SARTs, and fire-fighting gear.
Provisioning: Careful planning for food, water, and spares is essential. Our team assists with provisioning and logistics to ensure a smooth passage.
ARC Registration: Participation in ARC or ARC+ requires official registration, compliance with rally safety standards, and attendance at pre-departure briefings and training sessions ans while this will be done by ourselves and the crew you may need to contribute necessary information or with your presence.
Crew Training: Pre-crossing training and drills are conducted to ensure all guests and crew are familiar with safety protocols and emergency procedures.
