Abramovich’s Eclipse in South of France

Last weekend visitors to Cote d’Azur were able to witness the presence of the second largest superyacht in the world, the Eclipse. The owner of the boat and Chelsea Football Club, the Russian multi-billionaire Roman Abramovich was not seen, yet the yacht was displayed in front of the famous Hotel du Cap Eden Roc in Cap d’Antibes on the Cote d’Azur, in South of France.

This yacht is both spectacular in its presence as it is with the facilities on board. We have seen only Eclipse 4, one of its superyacht tenders. The yacht however has a number of others as well as two helicopter landing pads, two swimming pools, a number of hot tubs and a large disco hall. Given this super or rather gigayacht has almost 70 crew and up to 50 guests on board, it is worth noting the yacht also has a highest quality missile defence system,, an intruder detection system and a mini-submarine that can submerge up to 150’ apparently.

The boat may be occasionally offered for charter too, probably only to well known multi-millionaires, celebrities or billionaires only, so if you are interested please enquire with us soon. The assumption is that this giga yacht final bill was around 1.2 million Euros and it is not known what the weekly charter rate would be should you be interested in chartering her. Namely, this would depend on your particular circumstances, dates of charter and type of guests on board. We would be pleased to enquire with the owner’s representative on your behalf.
