Lürssen will present Quattroelle at the Monaco Yacht Show 2013

We are pleased to confirm that SuperSailYachts will be visiting this year’s Monaco Yacht Show. One of the major news is that famous German shipyard Lürssen will proudly present, one of the largest and most spectacular superyachts of today, Quattroelle, which is a brand new 86 metre yacht. Quattroelle is currently spending her first summer in the Mediterranean and has her world debut in Monaco.

 What is the meaning of the word Quattroelle ?
"Quattroelle" is Italian for "4 times the letter L" and
The 4 L's stand for Love, Life, Liberty and Luxury.

Quattroelle is a stunning giga yacht, one of the best in the world at this moment in time.  Super yacht charter boats such as Cakewalk or Pegaso can be compared to the lovely Luerssen 86m. The ‘’Four L’’ giga yacht is the first Lürssen yacht designed by Nuvolari-Lenard. The design house was responsible for the exterior as well for the interior design.  Quattroelle 86m provides for a successful combination of elegance and sporty looks and is bound to become a Classic yacht one day in the future.

Luerssen shipyard representatives reported that during the development and built process, making the boat of this size and with its massive volumes was a great challenge, but with careful volume distribution and a study of proportion, Nuvolari&Lenard nonetheless achieved a sleek appearance of the yacht. The funnel design was said to remind of the air scoop of a formula one car and with its inverted shape creates the distinctive silhouette of Quattroelle. Spread across a total of enormous six decks, this superb yacht offers her 12 guests the ultimate in space for both entertainment and relaxation.

The interior was described as "eclectic contemporary". The comfortable feeling apparently comes from a balanced connection between tradition and the best use of the decorative materials that Europe has to offer. The whole interior is customised, from pieces of furniture, hardware to lighting, combining a sophisticated palette of woods, stones and fabrics.

The owner’s captain, Paul Bell and the team around the owners chosen yacht broker Robert Moran, supervised the project and brought in their huge spectrum of experience and consolidated knowledge.
