Super Yacht Excellence V spotted in St Tropez and Pampelonne

Last week we had the privilege of spotting the amazing Abeking & Rasmussen built super yacht EXCELLENCE V in the South of France.

The yacht spent a number of days in the old port of St Tropez at nights, while most days, this amazing charter boat spent at anchor on the Eastern side of the famous Pampelonne beach in La Ramatuelle.

EXCELLENCE V, a perfect new superyacht, was designed by Raymond Langton Designs studio and launched by German shipyard Abeking & Rasmussen in 2012. She is painted in a stunning dark blue hull and is offered for super yacht charters on a regular basis. Her elegant lines, measuring 60m (196,9ft) make her the largest 60m super yacht by volume. She can accommodate up to 12 charter guests in 7 deluxe staterooms and is available for mega luxury crewed yacht charters both in the Western Mediterranean as well as the Caribbean.

As a true owners boat, it is good to know the master suite is a treat. Located forward on the upper deck and accessed via a private lobby she boats a king size centre lined bed, offers 180 degree panoramic views, his and hers marble en-suite facilities, a separate study and private forward facing balcony complete with ample sunpads and Jacuzzi tub.

The décor is naturally light and welcoming, and features neutral creams and natural woods, while the use of dark wood to accent the light gives the space a feel of elegance and structure. There is a smaller cabin adjacent to the master one, perfect for bodyguards or nannies or close family members. All other guests cabins are on the main deck forward of the salon and dining area, which gives all 12 guests ample space to enjoy.
