Stefano and Giorgia Barbini were seemingly born for the elite world of high-end fashion. He was the CEO of ESCADA for Italy and France while she was actually born into the fashion world: her grandfather was Gaetano Savini, the founder of Brioni.  This pedigree isn't what makes the couple so extraordinary, though: it's the fact that they left it all behind. One day they just decided to leave Rome, and create a private haven for themselves in the spectacular Italian Dolomite Mountains. They were so struck by the power of this experience that they decided to dedicate their lives to helping others "leave it all behind" - even if only for the duration of a holiday!

Blue Deer is the Barbini's sea lodge, a new twin to White Deer. Everything about her manifests Stefano and Giorgia's very special brand of Italian hospitality, from the extended flybridge lounge area, through the wines that Stefano personally selects for his guests, to the cascading outdoor shower.  Even the seemingly inconsequential details, like the quality of the aged Parmesan cheese on board, are attended to, as Giorgia and Stefano know these are the things that make the real difference to the overall experience.

Accommodation:
Luxury Sailing Catamaran BLUE DEER can accommodate up to 8+2 yacht charter guests in 4 luxuriously appointed en-suite cabins. The guests will have a total of 4 double cabins at their disposal. Two cabins also have Pullmans increasing the accommodation from 8 to 10 persons. All cabins are en-suite and with their own individual air con and audio-video entertainment systems etc.

Richard is an accomplished yacht captain that is well-respected amongst his peers and revered for his strong worth ethic. An avid sailor with an RYA Yachtmaster Offshore license, he has travelled extensively throughout the Mediterranean, Caribbean and Middle East. Additionally, Richard is a PADI Dive master that has professionally represented the UK in internationally lifeguard competitions. Bringing with him a can-do attitude, two of his biggest strengths are multitasking and problem solving, always remaining calm and efficient even under the most difficult situations. Upbeat and personable, Richard takes enormous satisfaction in sharing his passion for sailing with others, helping guests discover lesser known destination gems during their holidays, and taking them out on exceptional water sports adventures. He looks forward to welcoming guests onboard BLUE DEER.
Chef/Hostess on board of new Sunreef 74 is Sarah Bowman. Attentive, friendly, and innately enthusiastic, Sarah is an exemplary chef, first mate, and hostess with a prized list of admirable assets. Professionally trained, she honed her skills mastering the art of fine food preparation and presentation at the Ashburton School of Cookery and enjoys nothing more than showcasing her creative talents in the kitchen to her guests. Taking great pleasure from experimenting with new techniques and flavour compositions, Sarah's delectable dishes are both appealing to the palate and to the eye, seemingly designed to impress the most demanding food critics. Organized and meticulous about the finest details, her service is exceedingly outstanding and as a qualified Yachtmaster she is also adept at handling the yacht whenever the need arises. Sarah looks forward to delivering the five-star treatment to her guests onboard BLUE DEER.
Stewardess/Deckhand is Lisa James. Lisa is known for her outstanding client rapport and consistently excelling at anticipating guest needs. A real people pleaser, she is incredibly responsive and flexible in nature, taking great satisfaction when guests’ expectations are exceeded. As a previous boat owner, Lisa’s yachting experience is vast and she enjoys nothing more than spending time on the water. She also boasts of a background in healthcare, qualified as an Emergency Medical Technician in the UK with the ability to react quickly in critical situations. A PADI Advanced Diver and enthusiast of all water sports, Lisa adores the opportunity of taking guests of BLUE DEER on fun-filled adventures on the water and under the sea. Always delivering first class service that goes above and beyond, Lisa will ensure that guests enjoy every moment of their stay onboard BLUE DEER.

De-Luxe Sailing Catamaran BLUE DEER charter prices:
BLUE DEER super yacht charter prices start at 43,000 US$’s per week for up to 2 guests and then rise to 46,000 US$’s for up to 6 guests or 49,000 US$’s for up to 10 guests. Christmas and New Year rates are increased by 10%. These rates are under Caribbean terms, thus all inclusive except special requests (wine, champagne, alcoholic drinks, air fares, airport transfers, use of communication, any dockage fees) and crew gratuity. In the Mediterranean the prices are 34,000 Eur/week in low season and 37,500 Eur/week in high season, plus any and all expenses under MYBA terms and crew gratuity. In some locations VAT can be charged on top and prices can be higher on special days such as NEW YEAR or during special events such as Antigua boat show or racing events such as the Buckets. The Caribbean charter rates are always all inclusive except fine wines, taxes, fees and dockage if any.
