MAGELLAN

The charter prices on luxury gulet Magellan vary from low season, mid season to high season.  They are usually inclusive of Croatian PDV/VAT and start from 16,000 Eur in low season and can be as high as 20,000 Eur in high season. 

Price includes: 7 day cruise around Dalmatian coastline and islands, 6-7 crew members including a Captain, First Engineer, Waiter, Chef, Chef Assistant, Seaman, Chamber maid etc.  The service includes room service every day, changing of the towels every second day, afternoon coffee or tea with small snack,fresh fruit all day long, registry of guests (giving information, directions), welcome drink, VAT, use of deck chairs, sunbathing chairs on the sun deck and swimming equipment, Internet access.

Price does not include: beverages from the ship’s bar, transfer from and/or to the boat, crew gratuities, laundry, entrance to National Parks or any other items of personal nature.

The guests will also enjoy a FREE dinner on the last night of the cruise including live music entertainment !

The clients may also have to pay local TOURIST TAX of 1 Eur/day/person and port taxes at 25 Euro/person/week.
The check in usually starts on a Saturday in the afternoon, after 1pm, with disembarkation on a Saturday by 9am in the morning.

There are in total 6-7 crew members on board of gulet Magellan
The captain who is also the owner is Andrija Marasovic, born in 1981  He is a nautical engineer and has been sailing the Adriatic coast with his father since he was 10 years old. To have his own ship and continue the tradition has been a dream of his since he was a child. The Magellan, build in 2010, was his dream and a continuation of a tradition.

Salon Manager/Waiter on board of MS Magellan is Armando M. is certified in basic training aboard a ship (issued under the provisions of the international convention on standards of training , certification and watching keeping for seafarers). He has been sailing the Adriatic for 8 years. He is charge of serving and managing the salon. Armando speaks English, German, and French. Skipper is Josip, also with a certification in basic training aboard a ship (issued under the provisions of the international convention on standards of training , certification and watching keeping for seafarers). He is the apprentice aboard the Magellan. Cabin Service is providd by Doris. She is also certified in basic training aboard a ship and speaks English. She is charge of cleaning and upkeep of the cabins. Deckhand is Toni, also certified in Basic training aboard a ship. Toni has been a skipper aboard motor yachts in Croatia for the last 7 years. The chef is Andrija,who has been cooking aboard motors yachts in Croatia for the past 15 years. He has been with the Magellan since the yacht set sail in May 2010. His favorite meals to cook are traditional Croatian recipes.

Luxury Ketch Rigged Gulet Magellan is usually offering crewed yacht charters around the Croatian Adriatic, between Dubrovnik and Split. One way yacht charter cruises between these two ports is the most popular sailing itinerary.  The clients can also request access to parts of Montenegro or include locations further North such as Kornati National Park and Krka Waterfalls National Park.
