About Luxury Sailing Yacht AURORA:
AURORA is a true classic, a luxury crewed charter yacht designed by the acclaimed naval architect Ron Holland at the time when few boats in this range were available for yacht charters. She will impress all her guests not only with traditional 1980’s design, but also with her sailing performance. Permanently based in the most picturesque regions of the Eastern Caribbean, AURORA’s crew cruises amongst the most beautiful anchorages where powder-white beaches beckon you to relax away all the afternoons.  You can be active during the day by taking helm and assisting with hoisting the sails and then nap on the adjustable sun cushions on the broad foredeck, feeling the sea roll bouncing off her beautiful sleek hulls. When re-invigorated, you can dive off the deck into the clear Caribbean waters and snorkel amongst the fish and corals of these warm waters. Afterwards, you can relax on board and let your hostess indulge you first with a nice cocktail or a glass of bubbly in one of the teak chairs on the aft deck or on the cushioned cockpit seating under the sun awning, while later you can have a formal dinner on the dining table set up on deck or in case of bad weather in the main salon. AURORA's sparkling teak interior glows with rich designer fabrics, furnishings, and carpeting. In the raised saloon, wrap-around windows give abundant light and spectacular views. Then in the morning, get ready to sail again and explore the next magical bay of the Windward or Leeward islands.

Interior:
Sailing yacht AURORA has a light and welcoming interior with updated and re-modeled fixtures and fabrics. The salon has an open plan with a combined formal dining area, a typical U shaped sofa, a separate settee and a modern entertainment system. Guest accommodation is fore and aft of the salon in 2 double cabins. Thanks to the high cabin housing, the yacht benefits from great headroom of no less than 6.6ft and receives plenty of natural light and enjoys optional sea breezes which is a very modern feature for a yacht built in 1980’s.

On deck:
Exterior living is plentiful aboard the sloop rigged AURORA. The cockpit boasts wrap around seating, alfresco dining and an optional Bimini cover. The sumptuous teak decks are wide and effortlessly give access to the aft deck and generous foredeck, ideal for sunning and relaxing. Adjustable sun cushions, teak chairs, or the cushioned cockpit seating under the sun awning all provide comfortable places to relax on deck.

Accommodation:
Luxury Sailing Yacht AURORA offers comfortable accommodation for up to 4 guests in two double, en suite cabins located below deck aft, one of which is convertible to a twin. The full-beam aft stateroom has a queen bed, settee, vanity/desk and a large marble en-suite toilet with shower. The forward stateroom has a large double berth, a vanity/desk and en-suite toilet with a tiled stall shower. Both staterooms have flat screen TV/DVD's, XM satellite radios & Bose sound systems. They are appointed with 1,000 thread count linens, Grohe showers, Vacu-flush heads and amenities by Kiehl's.

Captain:
Born and raised in England, Rich Malone is a PADI diver, dedicated surfer, and a British Surfing Association-qualified instructor who travelled far and wide in search of the perfect wave. While on one of his quests, he turned to sailing as a way to reach remote and un-crowded beaches. With no experience under sail, he bought a yacht during a surfing expedition through Australia and, within a year, had taught himself to sail and was headed out into the Pacific with his surfboards strapped on deck. He has drawn on his wealth of adventures to write many feature articles for major sailing magazines on both sides of the Atlantic, and he is now working on the final draft of a book about his experiences.

Honeymoon in the Caribbean:

Having Rich on board as a captain is indeed a very nice solution. Luxury crewed charter yacht AURORA is fully air conditioned throughout.
This is a non-smoking vessel.
Guests may not be allowed to bring pets on-board.
AURORA´s experienced super yacht charter crew of up to 2 including the captain Rich Malone and his wife, have separate head and shower facilities as well as a companionway.

Super Yacht TENDER:
Luxury sailing yacht AURORA, a 67’sailing sloop has a 13’/3.9m AB hard bottom tender on board with a 60hp outboard engine.

Super Yacht Itineraries:
The luxury sailing Yacht AURORA usually cruises around the East Caribbean, within the Virgin Islands, Leeward and Windward island countries in winter months.  ONE WAY and tandem charters between Grenada, St Lucia and St Martin are welcomed.  During the summer months, the yacht moves North towards NEW England and may also accept luxury crewed yacht charters in Florida and the Keys.
