Luxury sailing boat ELENA is a traditional racing yacht schooner designed by what yachting historians would most likely say, the admiral Nathanael Herreshoff. With a degree in mechanical engineering Nat revolutionized the world of yacht design producing a number of America Cup winners between 1893–1920 before he died. The original schooner Elena achieved her ultimate triumph after his death, back in 1928 when she won the 3,500 mile King's Cup Trans-Atlantic Race from New York to northern Spain.
The current ELENA is only a few years old, yet classifies as a genuine classic yacht, a type of boat often favoured by the traditionalist amongst yacht charterers. Her timeless and elegant design offers something untouchable, which just does not transpire within a modern yacht. In people’s minds, there is an instilled assumption that a classic yacht would most likely offer an unsightly, old-fashioned interior.
With ELENA this simply is not the case. Accommodation:
Luxury Sailing Yacht ELENA can accommodate 10 guests in a classically designed, yet very modern interior. Her amazingly stylish woodwork throughout and elegant, age correct fittings are discreetly updated with the most modern technology. The guests will find a Master, a VIP, a double and two twin cabins on board. All guest cabins are exquisitely finished and fully loaded with modern facilities such as individually controlled air conditioning, iPod docking station, and en-suite bathrooms. Exquisite mahogany panelling abounds and the individual interior ornamental details follow the original designer detailing. Overhead portholes provide lovely natural light ensuring the time spent below deck is as enchanting and exhilarating as the one above.
The private yacht ELENA charter rates:
ELENA super yacht charter rates start at 80,000 Eur per week in low season, while high season prices are as high as 90,000 Eur per week plus obligatory APA Expenses. In some locations VAT may be charged on top and prices can be higher on special days such as NEW YEAR or during special events such as Voile les St Tropez or during reacing season in the Caribbean.

This is a non-smoking vessel.
ELENA´s experienced super yacht charter crew of up to 8 including the captain, have a separate head and shower and share companionway with the guests.
During racing charters the number of the crew can be as high as 30 men and women.
Guests may not be allowed to bring pets on-board.

Super Yacht itineraries:
Luxury Classic Yacht ELENA is usually cruising around the East Caribbean during winter months and the West Mediterranean in the summer. Her favourite sailing grounds cover the lovely Leeward Islands although charters around the Windward or even transatlantic voyages are not excluded. When in Europe, her crew spends most of the time cruising between St Tropez and Monaco or Monaco and Portofino.

Luxury classic yacht ELENA (55m / 180.45’) is a replica schooner launched by Naval de Marin of Spain back in 2009. Using original drawings from N.G. Herreshoff design studio, ACUBENS Naval Architects Madrid, recreated the naval architecture of this A Class schooner in the most spectacular fashion. She accommodates up to 8 adult yacht charter guests sleeping in 1 Master cabin with king size bed, 1 VIP queen cabin, 1 double cabin and 1 twin cabins, all of which are en suite. There are always at least up to 8 super yacht crew members on board.
This charter yacht mainly cruises at speeds of around 12kn and is normally offered for luxury crewed yacht charters within the West Mediterranean, between St Tropez and Portofino in Summer or East Caribbean during winter months. Her crew are happy to offer ONE WAY or TANDEM charters between other destinations too. Thanks to hear MAN super yacht engine totalling 600hp, and an impressive sail area, during the right sea and wind conditions, she can reach maximum speeds of around 20kn. Her best features are her fabulous classic design with extremely modern facilities, her superb super yacht crew of 8 making it a both classic and modern proposition like no other.

Private charter yacht ELENA can accommodate up to 8 guests in 4 cabins.

Her super yacht crew of up to 8 including the captain Steve McLaren, have a separate crew quarters with five cabins, heads and showers.
