Whether under sail or at anchor, guests will her comfortable and luxurious. The deck salon offers guests the opportunity to relax and unwind in the warm breezes of the Mediterranean or the trade winds of the East Caribbean, while sipping a cocktail after the dinner or simply reading their preferred book. Guests have the choice to dine on deck or below in the light and airy salon too.

GBV is the owners third yacht, after Grand Bleu II and Grand Bleu III. Also known as the CNB 95, Grand Bleu Vintage was the first of an important lineage: CNB 86, CNB 105, CNB 117. As such, she settled the foundations of a proven yacht concept, allying modern comfort and fast cruising.

The most determining DESIGN elements are:
- To favour comfort and elegance
The saloon is raised and the large engine room is located under the floor.
The space reserved for the guests as well as the spacious owners stateroom are located forward, well lit and well ventilated. The very comfortable and separate crew quarters includes two cabins, a small saloon and the galley, close to the technical area. The large lateral windows on the side, protected by slated blinds, provide a perfect view. The interior decoration features an elegant blending of teak, mahogany burr wood veneer and white lacquer.
- The general ergonomics and performance
The large cockpit at the deck level provides comfortable seating at anchor as well as under sail, particularly when the boat heels. Two helming consoles placed set off-centre allow good visibility and create a central passage to the transom. The tender garage is under the aft deck. Self-tacking cutter rig with shallow draft (3.5m) simplify manoeuvres and accessibility at anchor. The self tacking winches, the sloop rig, carbon rigging, the shape of the ballast, the water tanks placed at the two extremities and used as ballast ensure excellent performance when sailing.
- Construction
The hull and the deck of Grand Bleu Vintage are built of aluminium. This guarantees the reliability of this multifunctional yacht as she is as efficient on long crossings as when racing during the Antigua Race Week or St Barths Bucket. Her hull design incorporates a U-shaped stern, near vertical topsides and sharp entry with aesthetic considerations not falling short either. The high roof required by a deck saloon is halved by a low superstructure covering two-thirds of the boat’s length.

The crew:
The crew is very professional, highly gracious and fully dedicated to the enjoyment of their guests. Quiet, cheerful and confident, captain Pascal has an unparalleled knowledge of the sailing grounds and can guide you to the best sailing and beautiful anchorages where you can enjoy a swim in crystal waters or star-gazing unimpeded by artificial light. He is assisted by a newly appointed professional chef Hippolyte who takes great care in catering to guests’ preferences and brings his superb experience from ueber-luxury ski resort of Verbier, to combine his love of cooking with love of the open sea.
