Dubois designed MONDANGO 3 declared winner at ISS AWARDS 2014!

MONDANGO 3 is one of the finest sailing charter yachts currently cruising the world’s oceans and now its official … as she is the winner of ISS AWARDS 2014. The latest development in Dubois’ ground-breaking centreboard designs, this 56.4-metre flybridge ketch was made on behalf of an existing owner.  MONDANGO 3 as it was named, the 23^rd Dubois designed yacht built by Alloy Yachts of New Zealand, has now been voted as the Best Sailing Yacht in the 40m+ category. At the ceremony held in Fort Lauderdale last Wednesday, this super sail yacht which features such unique design elements as a swing down centreboard, twin sub-deck tender wells, aft deck spa pool and 60m2 flybridge, has won the first prize in her category.



MONDANGO 3 epitomises the extraordinarily high standards of sailing superyachts achieved by the excellence in design and combined with superb construction in all areas, including structural, systems, engineering, and interior finish. MONDANGO 3 is therefore another triumph for Alloy Yachts and the Dubois Designer team and the current owner, as well as all those who will be lucky to board and charter her in the future.

MONDANGO 3 is an exceptional boat in many ways. She has five staterooms accommodating up to 11 guests on board. Large hull windows, a midships owner’s suite and an exhaustively equipped galley - not to mention a 103-inch TV!, are among the signature features of her interior. This new ketch has an aft-deck spa pool, two large tenders stowed below the foredeck and a swing lift centreboard, enabling the yacht to access shallow lagoons and waterways, only drawing 4m. The cockpit is protected by sliding glass side screens and curved glass doors, and a swimming platform unfolds from the starboard topsides.

Reymond Langton, working closely with the owners, have created the innovative interior style and detailing with the yacht completed in December 2013 by Alloy Yachts in New Zealand, who delivered her to new Owners in early 2014.

Swiss party of 4 gentleman chartered a luxury sailing catamaran LADY ALLIAURA in the Caribbean and had absolutely amazing experience.
