FLIBS, the Florida Boat Show

Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show or FLIBS will take place from 31^st October to 4^th Nov 2013.  The Fort Lauderdale, Florida based show, will exhibit mainly products from yacht builders and designers but also a number of exotic cars and brokerage yachts offered for sale. A huge variety of boats will be on display including high performance boats, sailing yachts, motor yachts, power catamarans, and most importantly a number of luxury superyachts.

Apparently covering over 3 million square feet of space, the show's transportation network of bus shuttles, water taxis, and riverboats will ensure all visitors will be able to navigate the boat show and its expansive waterways system easily.  The usual attractions of being able to see the best of the luxury yachts on display will be enhanced by additional ones such as The Blue Wild Dive Show, IGFA's School of Sportfishing and Hook the Future's Kids Fishing Clinics.This yachting capital of the world boat show will take place in 6 different locations including Bahia Mar Yachting Centre, Hall of Fame Marina ,Las Olas Marina, Greater Fort Lauderdale / Broward County Convention Centre, Fort Lauderdale Hilton and the Sails Marina.

The FLIBS’ most attractive new offering is SeaFair, the megayacht venue, a 228 foot custom yacht which will house an art exhibit, fine jewelry, a restaurant and bar, the AIM Pavilion, and VIP lounges.  SeaFair is specifically designed to provide an environment where visitors and their guests can meet to relax or conduct business.  She will be located dockside at the Bahia Mar Fort Lauderdale Beach Hotel and Marina.

One of the luxury super yachts which will be present there is a MARJORIE MORNINGSTAR.  Built by the famous Dutch shipyard Amels in 2004, the Marjorie Morningstar mega charter boat, is going to be available for luxury crewed charters in the Caribbean this winter.  This 52m luxury super yacht, which underwent a full refit in 2012, charters from very low 180.000 US$’s per week ,plus APA.  The captain Anthony Priest and his crew are keen to accept charters in or around Florida, Bahamas or almost any part of the Eastern Caribbean.  The mega yacht Marjorie Morningstar can be viewed during the FLIBS show at the Hall of Fame floating dock and the viewing could be arranged through SuperSailYachts.com at any time.  Other luxury and mega yacht charter boats will also be present thus in case you are planning your next holiday at sea, do contact us to discuss your yacht charter preferences and requirements shortly.
