Project ''He'' or YN16947, a 47m full displacement yacht by HEESEN YACHTS, which is expected to sail first time early next year, was sold to a new owner last month. The project name in Chinese means ‘the simplest form of peace and harmony’.
The superyacht, whose name will be chosen by the new owner in the coming months, will be best known by its well-engineered round bilge hull with bulbous bow which is a unique feature of Heesen's range. The latest in modern interior is being designed by the London-based, multi-award winning studio of Bannenberg & Rowell Design who are on their fifth successful collaboration with the Dutch superyacht builder. Their previous project work included interior design on luxury mega yachts such as the 37m Aurelia, 47m Elandess (now Raasta), Lady Petra and the 65m Galactica Star to name but a few. Dickie Bannenberg explains how the B&R studio explored themes of purity and simplicity for this project, always confident that Heesen would interpret their concept immaculately as with their previous joint projects.
Guru designer Dieter Rams’ motto “to omit everything superfluous so that the essential is shown to the best possible advantage” guided Bannenberg & Rowell in their approach to the interior design of Project Hé. The designer team chose name ‘’Hé’’ given its meaning in Chinese as the full expression of the ultimate form of sophistication.
In terms of accommodation, up to twelve guests will enjoy a relaxing atmosphere on board where relaxing choice of mainly neutral colors are combined with natural and discreet contrast finishes. An important role is played by the use of light: indirect lighting – concealed LED light strips and filtered light thanks to refined venetian blinds – create a unique atmosphere on board.
Project Hé will be delivered to her Owners in February 2015. This super yacht is not expected to be offered for luxury crewed yacht charters shortly, yet if you are keen to hire a Heesen yacht or another similar boat in this range for your next winter holiday int he Caribbean or next summer’s luxury family holiday in the Mediterranean, we will be pleased to provide details on the lastest vessels in charter or those that are in the similar price or size range.
