Monaco Yacht Show 2014!

The Monaco Yacht Show (MYS) is a genuine House of Fine Yachting, the Super Yacht Show to follow. Seen as the greatest exhibit of recently launched vessels, it is due to be held nexts month, between 24^th and 27^th September 2014. Promising to be bigger and more exclusive than ever, this prime exhibition of the evolution of the world’s best superyachts will as always be held at the famous Port Hercules. 

As a must-attend event for everyone involved in super yacht industry, from shipyards, yacht and interior designers, yacht charter agents and brokers, equipment manufacturers, water toys providers, luxury goods firms as well as yacht buyers and yacht charter clients alike, it is due to attract a number of latest super yachts next month. Earlier this year, MYS Managing Director Gaelle Tallarida announced the expansion of the show which can now welcome record breaking number of yachts.  With up to 115 of those (including 40 new models) and 30 luxury superyacht tenders due to attend, some have already confirmed their presence and these include the stunning SOLANDGE, an 85m giga yacht from Luerssen, Perini Navi’s motor yacht GRACE E, a 73m motor yacht from a professional sailing yacht builder which is a must see as well as a number of other mega yachts from CRN (a 61m SARAMOUR), from TANSU (38.7m ALYSSA), from FEADSHIP (46m COMO), from HEESEN YACHTS (50m MONACO’s WOLF a record braking yacht delivered in 4 months,  and 47m ELENA) and so on.

The MYS started off as a super yacht broker show back in 1991, something similar to Palma Super Yacht Show which started recently and which takes place in April or May every year. As the super yacht industry benefited from an enormous growth recently, the MYS show evolved into the major yacht show for super yachts, those above 25m only. Belgian property company chartered a luxury sailing yacht XNOI during the prestigious Cannes event MIPIM in March 2015. They stated the lovely XNOI was even better than they expected and this spectacular yacht with the fabulous captain Marco made all the difference. Their event proved successful even if the allocated choice of berth did not serve the purpose in the best possible way. The successful charter is likely to be repeated within 12 months.
