Designed by the Fontaine Design Group and built by Alloy Yachts, MARAE accommodates 6 guests in 3 en suite staterooms. Her special feature is the largest in its class, The Master stateroom which is full width with direct access to the private aft cockpit which has a collapsible spray hood. It has a centreline queen size bed, office and en suite bathroom with a roomy stall shower with built-in seat. Further accommodation features a VIP Guest stateroom which has a double bed and en suite bathroom with a stall shower and built-in seat and the Guest stateroom which has 2 single beds, a Pullman berth and bathroom with a stall shower.

This is a genuinely unique yacht and her name Marae, pronounced as ‘Mar-eye’, contributes to her originality as well.  The name originates within the native New Zealand Maori tribe and it means a special meeting place for family and friends. Given the shipyard which built MARAE are Alloy Yachts based in New Zealand the name is very unique as this fabulous charter yacht indeed. Fully air conditioned throughout, MARAE is captain by Frank Ficken, a US born captain who has extensive sailing experience in the Caribbean and New England. He is particularly happy to allow clients to help sail MARAE whenever this is possible or when the clients are keen to switch from enjoying their luxury yacht charter experience for an adventurous sailing.
