SUPER sailing yacht “MONDANGO 3” launched!

One of the nicest super sailing yachts of all time has been launched and will be available for super yacht charters early next year.

Mondango 3 is a 56.4m/185’ super sailing yacht launched on 5^th December 2013. 
She is the 23^rd Dubois yacht built by Alloys yachts of NEW Zealand.  Her best features are a swing down centre board, twin sub-deck tender wells, aft deck spa pool and a 60m2 flybridge.  Mondango 3 epitomizes the extraordinarily high standards amongst the latest super sailing yachts which were built to achieve excellence in design with a combination of superb construction in all areas; including the structural, systems, engineering and finally the interior finish.

Her powerful hull offers high stability and thanks to the swing centreboard, mainly designed in order to give her excellent upwind performance, she will also be able to access shallow harbours and close-in bay moorings. 


Mondango 3 is another triumph for the prestigious luxury sailing yachts shipyard from New Zealand.  As all previous luxury boats from Alloy Yachts, she was built to Lloyds Classification and designed by the in-house Dubois Naval Architects, while her rigs are being completed by Southern Spars in Auckland, with the North Sails being used to equip her. 

As the two previous Mondago super yachts, it is expected that Mondango 3 will also be a high performance aluminium ketch, a progression of large flybridge yachts with clean lines, subtle sheer and low-profile coachroof, all built as world luxury cruising yachts with the ability to stay operational for extended voyages without shore based support. 

It is expected that the greatest popularity, Mondango 3, which has five cabins accommodating up to 11 adult guests, will achieve as a charter yacht.  The interior designers, professionals at Reymond Langton studio who worked on other super yachts such as the Mondango 2, have created a fabulous super yacht which will soon hit all the world’s oceans, one by one.

The Mondango 3 was announced as available for super yacht charters as of late February 2014.

Belgian property company chartered a luxury sailing yacht XNOI during the prestigious Cannes event MIPIM in March 2015. They stated the lovely XNOI was even better than they expected and this spectacular yacht with the fabulous captain Marco made all the difference. Their event proved successful even if the allocated choice of berth did not serve the purpose in the best possible way. The successful charter is likely to be repeated within 12 months.
