Launched in 2009, the Supersail yacht ELENA, a modern luxury crewed yacht charter boat, and built to an exacting classic design by Herreshoff from early XIX century, is now available in Leeward Islands.
Luxury sailing boat ELENA is a traditional racing yacht schooner designed by what yachting historians would most likely say, the admiral Nathanael Herreshoff. With a degree in mechanical engineering Nat revolutionized the world of yacht design producing a number of America Cup winners between 1893–1920 before he died. The original schooner Elena achieved her ultimate triumph after his death, back in 1928 when she won the 3,500 mile King's Cup Trans-Atlantic Race from New York to northern Spain.
