Super sail yacht NOMAD IV is a high performance sailing yacht, the fastest cruising sloop in her range. She will be in the Caribbean this winter and is available for racing yacht charters during BVI Spring Regatta in 2016.

She is a perfect yacht for high performance racing indeed.  As a Maxi Dolphin FC100 she has a number of most distinguishing features such as the 9-ton water ballast tanks each side, a short-chord performance lifting keel (normally 5.4m when down or up to 3m when raised), twin rudders and 100% carbon hull amongst others.

Luxury Sailing Yacht NOMAD IV can accommodate 12 guests in 5 luxuriously appointed staterooms. These twelve guests can also join in on top of the professional racing crew already on board.  The guests will have a vast master cabin, two double, one quadruple (double plus twin beds) and one twin cabin at their disposal. All cabins are en-suite and with their own individual air con and entertainment systems. The master cabin also has an LCD TV. The accommodation is well lit and very comfortable, not least thanks to the heavy ballasts which ensure minimum heeling during sailing. 

The yacht has professional crew on board which can be hired and the same will be fully trained and race ready. The charter fee for this regatta is 65.000€ + APA « Racing costs » of 50.000€ including all race crew, flights and accommodations, provisioning, Race entry fee etc. On top, a Security deposit equal to the deductible of the insurance is required, 50.000€.  Alternatively, if you have your own crew, To understand how good this racing yacht is, for the the last Race, the RORC Transatlantic in June 2015, NOMAD IV has reached speeds in excess of 30,6 knots!  Yacht charter clients can also bring their own crew in which case up to 20 racerc can join in the event.
