Monaco Yacht Show 2019 takes place from 25-29th September!

For all those who are keen to charter a superyacht or want to explore the world of luxury yacht charter in general, consider going to Monaco SuperYacht Show 2019 later this month.  Held from 25-29th September 2019, the show is promising to be the most exclusive event anywhere in the world during that particular week. Held annually since 1991, the trade show of Monaco is organised by Informa, a British registered publishing company.  Taking place at Port Hercules, the principalities largest marina, the show will once again display the largest superyachts in the world.  Since last year, when the Quai des Etats-Unis was restructured to allow exhibitors to locate themselves next to the representing yachts, the whole experience has been lifted to another, even more exclusive level. This allows the boat show to have more structure with Darse Sud and Quai Albert used for nautical suppliers exhibition, while separated Parvis Piscine is expected to welcome luxury manufacturers and exclusive lifestyle suppliers only.  Finally, one of the most interesting part of the show is expected to be at Quai Jarlan where the finest superyacht tenders will find their home.

The show is organised across an area of well over 15,000m2 including a floating exhibition with superyachts from around 80-250ft+, with at least a dozen of yachts expecting to premier at the show this year.  In terms of visitor numbers, close to 30,000 are expected to be present.  Every year there is a yacht which attracts most attention and it all more or less started with SY MALTESE FALCON in 2006 when this sublime sailing yacht was the talk of the show as the groundbreaking concept and a superyacht like no other.  Her presence was in a way surpassed by the launch of MY ALPHA NERO in 2007.  In the recent years other yachts which attracted most attention where 61m DIAMONDS ARE FOREVER and 73.5m MOGAMBO. 

Finally, the most exclusive one in 2018 was 95m KISMET, built by Luerssen, 89m BARBARA and 90m DAR built by Oceanco and 81m AIR or 92m AQUARIUS both of which were built by Feadship, while sublime 70m BADIS was the largest and most spectacular sailing yacht built by PERINI NAVI. Later this month, in September 2019 we expect the 106.1m AMADEA, built by Luerssen and with Exterior design by Espen Oino and interior by Francois Zurretti to attract most attention. The others likely to be drawing crowds are the 95m MADSUMMER and 111m TIS, built also by Luerssen and full-carbon custom built 34.14m supersail yacht built by Baltic Yachts.  With the angular, reverse bow as well as curved, reflective and double-height glass windows, the 79.9m mega yacht MY EXCELLENCE, built Abeking & Rasmussen, is likely to attract most views however.
